Authorizes the release or amendment of certain use restrictions on former state property in Malden.

This bill allows the Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to release or amend certain use restrictions on a parcel of land and building at 89 Summer Street in Malden, formerly the site of Malden District Court and a parking lot. The net proceeds from any sale to a third party will be determined by the difference between the sale price and the purchase price of $480,000, minus related costs. If the net proceeds are negative, the Commonwealth will not be required to make any payments to the City of Malden.
