Adjusts the disability retirement benefits for Michael D. Chapdelaine, a West Springfield police officer.

This bill modifies the disability retirement benefits for Michael D. Chapdelaine, a retired police officer from West Springfield, Massachusetts. It increases his accidental disability retirement allowance, effective retroactively to October 29, 2024. His spouse is entitled to 75% of his annual pension, and if they both predecease their children, the surviving children will receive a pension of equal proportion. The bill also allows Chapdelaine to work for a private entity without penalty, provided it is not for the commonwealth or a local authority.
