Massachusetts H5579 allows the town of Stockbridge to modify employment for firefighters, volunteer firefighters, and fire engineers. The town can extend the service of employees who would otherwise retire at 65 until they turn 70 or until retirement or non-reappointment, whichever comes first. The town may require employees to be examined by an impartial physician at their own expense. This Act takes effect upon passage.
