Massachusetts H5570 would allow the town of Nahant to prohibit the use of anticoagulant rodenticides.

Massachusetts H5570 would authorize the town of Nahant to prohibit the application of first, second, or future generation anticoagulant rodenticides by any professional pest control companies within the town. This includes application of such pesticides by licensed commercial applicators, except as allowed by the town’s board of health to remediate a public health condition. The act would take effect upon passage.
