Authorizes the town of Warren to continue employing Steven Perkins beyond the age of 65.
This bill allows the town of Warren to keep Steven Perkins, a member of the fire department, employed past the age of 65, the usual retirement age. Perkins can continue working until he turns 70, retires, is not reappointed, or is relieved of his duties, whichever comes first. The town can require Perkins to undergo a medical examination to ensure he is fit for duty. Perkins will not have his pay reduced for retirement purposes after age 65, and he will receive a retirement allowance equivalent to what he would have earned had he retired at 65.
