Establishes an amendment to Bridgewater Town Charter Article VIII, Section 8-2 Citizen Referendum Petition Timeframe.

The bill amends Bridgewater Town Charter Article VIII, Section 8-2 to change the timeframe for submitting referendum petitions. If a petition signed by at least 5% of voters is filed within 30 days of a measure's final passage, the measure is suspended and reconsidered by the town council. If not rescinded, the measure is put to a vote at the next regular or special town election, becoming null unless approved by a majority. The amendment requires approval by the Town Council and the State.
