Establishes a Legion of Merit license plate for Massachusetts veterans awarded the Legion of Merit.
This bill creates a Legion of Merit license plate for private passenger vehicles owned by veterans who have been awarded the Legion of Merit. The surviving spouse of a deceased recipient may also retain the plate. The plate bears the words "LEGION OF MERIT RECIPIENT." Owners must pay the standard registration fee and an additional annual fee of twenty dollars.
