Massachusetts H5524 modifies the rules for the Conservation Commission in Chatham. It allows the town's selectboard to appoint associate members to the commission for terms not exceeding 1 year. The chairman can also designate an associate member to temporarily fill in for a regular member in cases of absence, inability to act, conflict of interest, or vacancy. This act takes effect upon passage.
