Authorizes the town of Hingham to transfer certain land parcels to the Commonwealth for highway purposes.

This bill allows the town of Hingham to transfer specific land parcels to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for highway purposes. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will compensate the town at least 110 percent of the fair market value of the transferred lands. The funds will be deposited into a fund dedicated to land conservation in Hingham. The Department of Transportation will also cover all costs related to the transfer, including engineering, surveys, and appraisal. The bill takes effect upon passage.
