Massachusetts H5476 amends the town charter of Provincetown to modify the creation and operation of town boards.

Massachusetts H5476 amends the town charter of Provincetown by allowing the creation, combination, dissolution, or reorganization of non-regulatory appointed town boards by a majority vote of the select board. It also prohibits paid town employees from serving on regulatory boards or town boards overseeing matters related to their employment. Additionally, it mandates that the finance committee report on warrant articles concerning town fund expenditures be posted on the town website and made available at least seven days prior to any town meeting.
