Modernizes financial departments in the city of Holyoke by changing election and appointment terms for certain officials.

This bill updates the City of Holyoke Charter to change the terms and election cycles for certain financial department officials. It mandates that the city council annually elect an administrative assistant to the city council and appoint a Director of Internal Audit every three years. It also changes the election cycle for assessors of taxes and water commissioners to annual. The bill repeals conflicting sections of previous laws and takes effect immediately upon passage.
