Massachusetts H5391 increases the disability pension for retired police officer Misael Rodriguez and his family members.

Massachusetts H5391 increases the accidental disability retirement allowance for Misael Rodriguez, a retired police officer who is totally and permanently incapacitated from performing his duties due to injuries sustained in the line of duty. The annual pension amount will equal the compensation he was earning on November 5, 2020. If Rodriguez predeceases his spouse, the spouse will receive 75% of the annual pension. His unmarried children under 18, or under 22 and full-time students, or over 18 and incapacitated from earning income, will also receive a pension of equal proportion.
