Massachusetts H531 amends the General Laws to require school districts to reimburse parents or guardians for transportation costs when they drive their children with disabilities to school and school-sponsored activities. Reimbursement includes the prevailing rate per mile and the state minimum wage for the time spent driving. The reimbursement is capped at the round-trip distance and time between the student's home and school.
