Introduced·3/26/26
Introduced Text

Expanding access to perimenopause and menopause care in Massachusetts.

The bill expands access to perimenopause and menopause care in Massachusetts by mandating coverage for hormonal and non-hormonal therapies recommended by licensed health care providers. It prohibits more restrictive utilization controls for these therapies than those applied to other hormonal and non-hormonal drugs. The Department of Public Health is directed to develop and disseminate information on perimenopause and menopause, including symptoms, treatment options, and long-term health considerations.
