Massachusetts H5243 amends regulations to allow rest homes to register for medication administration by employed Responsible Persons.

Massachusetts H5243 amends Chapter 94C of the General Laws to allow rest homes to register for medication administration by employed Responsible Persons. This change permits rest homes to have staff administer medication to residents who cannot self-administer. The commissioner is tasked with promulgating regulations to facilitate this registration process.
