Authorizes the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to take land in Norwood by eminent domain for health care access.

This bill authorizes the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to take by eminent domain a parcel of land in Norwood, Massachusetts, to ensure access to health care. The land, identified as Norwood hospital, is owned by MPT of Norwood-Steward, LLC. Upon completion of the taking, the division will transfer control of the land to the Department of Public Health for disposition to a qualified nonprofit hospital operator. The bill declares this action an emergency law necessary for the immediate preservation of public health.
