Validating a conveyance of land and authorizing the recording of a confirmatory deed in the city of Marlborough

Introduced·3/5/26
Introduced Text

Validates a 1958 land conveyance in Marlborough and authorizes recording of a confirmatory deed.

This bill validates a 1958 land conveyance from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to Pierina Monti in Marlborough, despite the absence of a recorded deed. It authorizes the Middlesex southern district registry of deeds to record a confirmatory deed, which will be effective as of the original conveyance date, May 22, 1958. The confirmatory deed will cure any defects in the chain of title and vest the title in Pierina Monti, free from any claims by the commonwealth.
