This bill proposes to allocate $1.15 billion of surplus income surtax collections from Fiscal Year 2025 to enhance the transportation and education systems. For transportation, it includes $644.7 million for the MBTA, $80 million for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, and $60 million for grants to municipalities for road repairs.
