Massachusetts H4935 mandates no cost sharing or utilization review for certain contagious and infectious disease treatments.

Massachusetts H4935 amends various sections of the General Laws to ensure that health insurance plans cover without cost sharing or utilization review any health care service for the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of contagious or infectious diseases designated as of heightened public health importance. This applies to individual and group policies, health maintenance contracts, preferred provider contracts, and other health coverage and medical assistance programs.
