Chamber Passed·5/21/26
Introduced Text

Massachusetts H4890 mandates the Quincy Retirement Board to apply certain presumptions to public safety personnel seeking Accidental Disability.

Massachusetts H4890 requires the City of Quincy Retirement Board to apply presumptions to public safety personnel applying for Accidental Disability Retirement. If the board cannot locate or maintain a complete record of the member's pre-employment physical examination, the member or employer may submit an Affidavit attesting to the examination's completion and lack of evidence of the disabling condition. This Affidavit serves as substantial evidence of the member's successful pre-employment physical examination. The act takes effect upon passage.
