Massachusetts H4862 authorizes the town of Monterey to keep police officer Jennifer O. Brown employed beyond the standard retirement age of 65. The town may require her to undergo an examination by the Berkshire County Retirement System to ensure she remains capable of performing her duties. If deemed unfit, she will be retired for superannuation without being considered disabled. Upon retirement, she will receive a superannuation allowance equivalent to what she would have received had she retired at 65.
