The bill allows the town of Lee to keep Assistant Chief Glenn M. Wilcox employed until he reaches 70 years old, retires, or is relieved of duties by the town administrator. The town administrator can require a medical examination to ensure Glenn M. Wilcox remains capable of performing his duties. Glenn M. Wilcox will receive a superannuation retirement allowance equivalent to what he would have received if he had retired at age 65. The bill takes effect immediately upon passage.
