H483

Relative to non-outcome based or performance based wagers

Introduced·2/27/25
Introduced Text

Massachusetts H483 proposes to allow non-outcome based or performance based wagers in the Commonwealth.

Massachusetts H483 amends the state's gambling laws to permit non-outcome based or performance based wagers, such as those based on the result of an official coin toss or the length of a national anthem performance at an athletic event. The gaming commission retains the authority to set limits on these types of wagers if deemed necessary.
