Massachusetts H4767 requires health care employers to develop and implement programs to prevent workplace violence. Employers must conduct annual risk assessments and create a workplace violence prevention plan. Employees who are victims of assault or assault and battery while in the line of duty can take paid leave. Employers must notify employees of their rights and responsibilities.
