Authorizes the release of certain land from conservation restrictions in Deerfield for transportation project.

This bill allows the release of specific land from conservation restrictions in Deerfield to facilitate the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's rehabilitation of Upper Road over the Deerfield River. The bill requires the town of Deerfield to convey certain land to the Commonwealth for conservation purposes as compensation. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will cover all costs related to the engineering, surveys, appraisal, and other expenses necessary for the conveyance. The conservation restriction will remain in effect except for the released portion.
