Facilitates the purchase of certain event tickets by removing regulatory burdens on businesses.
The bill amends Section 185A of chapter 140 of the General Laws to remove regulatory burdens on businesses, including nonprofits, that exhibit and sell tickets to theatrical and other public events. It declares the act as an emergency law necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience. The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to forthwith remove regulatory burdens on businesses.
