Massachusetts H4366 expands the use of career and academic plans for high school students.
Massachusetts H4366 mandates that all public school districts ensure high school students, starting from ninth grade, develop individual learning plans with educator support and an approved online platform. These plans, known as MyCAP, allow students to outline their academic pathways from secondary to post-secondary education or careers. Districts must report annually on improved college and career readiness outcomes. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will provide guidance to districts for compliance. The provisions will take effect on September 1, 2028.
