Exempts Chatham, Massachusetts from prevailing wage law for projects under $50,000.

This bill exempts the town of Chatham from complying with the prevailing wage law for public works projects estimated to cost $50,000 or less. The exemption applies to projects governed by sections 26 through 27G of chapter 149 of the General Laws. The act takes effect immediately upon passage.
