The bill establishes a sick leave bank for Cheryl Thouin, an employee of the Hampshire County Sheriff’s Office. Employees of the department may voluntarily contribute sick, personal, or vacation days to this bank for Cheryl’s use. If Cheryl terminates employment or requests to dissolve the bank, any remaining time will transfer to the extended illness leave bank. The leave bank days can only be used for absences related to Cheryl’s illness or disability.
