Authorizes the town of Warren to extend the employment of Steven Perkins, a firefighter, until age 67 or retirement.
This bill allows the town of Warren to keep Steven Perkins, a firefighter, on the job until he turns 67 or retires, whichever comes first. Perkins must be mentally and physically fit to perform his duties, as determined by a physician chosen by the town. The town can require this examination at its own expense. Perkins will not have any deductions from his pay for retirement or pension purposes after he turns 65, and he will receive a superannuation retirement allowance equal to what he would have earned if he had retired at age 65.
