This bill allows the Provincetown Year-Round Market Rate Rental Housing Trust to acquire year-round housing occupancy restrictions. These restrictions limit land use to residential housing for those who occupy housing as their primary residence for at least 11 months a year. The acquisition must be approved by the Select Board and recorded with the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds. The restriction can be enforced by the housing trust and may be released by the holder after a public hearing and Select Board approval.
