Massachusetts H3952 allows Dartmouth Fire District No. 1 to appoint a Treasurer, who will serve for up to three years and can be reappointed only in the last year of their term. The Prudential Committee of the District can suspend, terminate, or discipline the Treasurer as per the employment contract. The Act takes effect on July 1, 2025.
