It allows the project to proceed without being subject to certain chapters of the General Laws, including chapter 149, chapter 7C, or section 39M of chapter 30. However, the project will still be subject to sections 26 to 27H, inclusive, of chapter 149. The bill also exempts the acquisition of real property and contracts for construction from limitations imposed by general or special laws.
