Recognizes service to the Commonwealth and Nation by amending the flag protocol.

This bill amends the flag protocol to recognize service to the Commonwealth and Nation. Specifically, it mandates that the flag of the Commonwealth be flown at half-staff upon the death of an actively serving service member from the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Coast Guard, the Reserve Component, or the National Guard from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This act honors the service and sacrifice of these individuals.
