Massachusetts H3759 establishes distinctive Cold War veteran license plates for private passenger motor vehicles and motorcycles. Owners of these vehicles who honorably served the United States during the Cold War era, from September 2, 1945, to December 26, 1991, can apply for these plates upon presenting satisfactory evidence. The plates will bear the words "COLD WAR VETERAN" on the left side, and an annual $20 fee will be charged in addition to the standard registration fee. Motorized bicycles are excluded from this provision.
