Establishes quarterly allocation of Chapter 90 funds for cities and towns in Massachusetts for road and bridge projects.
The bill amends Chapter 6C of the General Laws to establish a quarterly allocation of Chapter 90 funds for cities and towns in Massachusetts. Beginning June 1 of any year, the Department of Transportation will distribute funds on a quarterly basis for approved projects related to the construction, maintenance, or repair of roads and bridges. Each quarterly expenditure will not exceed one-fourth of the total annual allocation for that city or town.
