Introduced Text

Massachusetts H3641 mandates educational training for class 2 motor vehicle licenses.

Massachusetts H3641 introduces educational requirements for class 2 motor vehicle licenses. It mandates that applicants complete eight hours of training on rules, regulations, and laws related to the used car industry. The National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) will establish the curriculum and a standardized test. Upon successful completion, applicants receive a class 2 education certificate. This certificate is necessary for obtaining or renewing a class 2 license. Additionally, all class 2 licensees must attend four hours of continuing education every two years.
