Massachusetts bill H3558 amends Chapter 93E of the General Laws to require gasoline stations in optimal locations to install electric vehicle charging stations. These optimal locations are identified by the electric vehicle coordinating council. Any dealer installing new operational gas dispensing motor fuel pumps in these sites must also install at least one electric vehicle charging station. The charging station must have non-proprietary chargers capable of charging electric vehicles from at least three different incorporated auto manufacturers.
