Massachusetts H3548 restricts woody biomass eligibility as an alternative energy supply for intermediate or large generation units.

Massachusetts H3548 amends the General Laws to limit the eligibility of woody biomass as an alternative energy supply for intermediate or large generation units. This change does not apply to biomass facilities already qualified by the Department of Energy Resources as of January 1, 2023. The act takes effect immediately upon passage.
