Introduced Text

Massachusetts H3456 advances energy solutions by regulating group purchasing of energy and telecommunications services.

Massachusetts H3456 amends existing law to facilitate group purchasing of energy and telecommunications services for public entities and nonprofit institutions. It allows these entities to participate in competitively procured programs without requiring competitive bidding for power purchase agreements or net metering agreements. The bill also permits the disposal of state property for renewable energy projects and other climatetech initiatives.
