Massachusetts H3453 amends definitions to clarify miniature beverage containers under the "bottle bill.

Massachusetts H3453 amends the definitions in the General Laws to clarify what constitutes a miniature beverage container. It specifies that a "beverage container" is a sealable bottle, can, jar, or carton made of glass, metal, plastic, or a combination of these materials, with a capacity of not more than 100 milliliters, intended to hold an alcoholic beverage. It also defines a "miniature" as a sealable bottle, can, jar, or carton made of glass, metal, plastic, or a combination of these materials, intended to hold a beverage, excluding containers made of biodegradable material.
