Introduced Text

Authorizes the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to convey certain parcels of land to the town of Bolton.

The bill authorizes the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to convey certain parcels of land to the town of Bolton. The parcels, which were part of the Lancaster Industrial School for Girls, are to be used for general municipal purposes. The commissioner must use competitive bidding processes for any disposition. The proceeds from the sale will be deposited into the General Fund. The bill includes a reversionary clause that allows the title to revert to the commonwealth if the parcels are not used for the specified purposes.
