Massachusetts H3282 allows the town of Westford to release agricultural preservation restrictions on specific land owned by Westford Gateway, LLC for the rehabilitation of Boston Road. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will assume all costs related to the release. As compensation, the Department must provide funding to the town of Westford, equivalent to at least 110% of the fair market value or value in use of the impacted lands, to be used for acquiring replacement land for conservation.
