Massachusetts H3174 amends the child and dependent care tax credit for residents.

Massachusetts H3174 modifies the child and dependent care tax credit to allow a credit of $500 for each qualifying dependent, up to 25% of the federal tax credit. It restricts the credit for non-residents to the number of days they reside in the state. The credit is available to married taxpayers filing jointly or heads of household.
