Grants creditable service to Eileen Mullen for teaching in a criminal justice pilot program at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High.

This bill directs the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement Board to credit Eileen Mullen with service she performed in a criminal justice pilot program at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School from August 2010 to June 2013. This creditable service will determine her superannuation retirement allowance. Eileen Mullen will need to pay into the annuity savings fund of the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System an amount equivalent to what would have been withheld as regular deductions from her compensation for this service, along with buyback interest.
