Establishes a special commission to study cost-of-living adjustments for Massachusetts State Police retirees.

The bill creates a special commission to investigate the feasibility of increasing cost-of-living adjustments for retirees of the Massachusetts State Police. The commission will include the chairs of the joint committee on public service, the executive director of the state retirement board, a member appointed by the chair of the MA public employee retirement administration commission, and the president of MA retirees. The commission will report its findings and draft legislation to the house and senate committees on ways and means.
