Relative to the Insurance Advisory Committee

Introduced·2/27/25
Introduced Text

Amends the composition of the Insurance Advisory Committee in Massachusetts.

The bill amends the composition of the Insurance Advisory Committee in Massachusetts by changing the membership criteria. It removes the requirement for a retiree representative designated by the Retired State, County and Municipal Employee Association and replaces it with a representative of each collective bargaining unit with which the political subdivision negotiates under chapter 150E. This change affects the committee's structure and the representation of various stakeholders in insurance-related matters.
