This bill amends the General Laws to allow school nurses in Massachusetts to receive creditable service for their nursing experience when applying for retirement benefits. Eligible nurses must apply for this credit within 90 days of being notified by the retirement board or from the effective date of this act. The maximum creditable service allowed is three years.
