Massachusetts H2866 directs the Massachusetts State Retirement Board to provide a lifetime, monthly allowance to Carrie Duff, the surviving beneficiary of former Massachusetts Department of Corrections employee William Manduca. The allowance is equal to what she would receive if William had elected option (d) of subdivision (2) of section 12 of chapter 32 and nominated her as his sole surviving eligible beneficiary. This allowance is in lieu of any other benefits Duff may receive from the Massachusetts State Employees Retirement System.
