Relative to contributory retirement board elections

Allows surviving spouses receiving retirement benefits to vote in contributory retirement board elections in Massachusetts.

This bill amends Massachusetts law to grant surviving spouses who receive retirement allowances from contributory retirement systems the right to vote in the election of the third and fourth members of the retirement board. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2026.
